Super Bowl Weekend at One Greenway
It’s been more than a week since the New England Patriots lost to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship game and we’re still reeling from the loss. However, the time has come to pull ourselves together and prepare to watch the Carolina Panthers beat the Broncos in the Super Bowl.
On Saturday, football fans seeking a weekend-long feast can check out Burrito Bowl V at the Rattlesnake. Some of Boston’s best chefs develop belly-busting burritos inspired by teams around the NFL that are then judged by both guests and a panel of celebrity judges.
On Sunday, Pats fans can find solace in nature at the Super Bowl Walk in Westport, Massachusetts. The Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust (DNRT) and the Westport Land Conservation Trust (WLCT) co-sponsor the walk, which is now in its 10th year. Enjoy a 7-mile hike through preservation land on Massachusetts’ South Coast and the organizations will ferry you back to your car in time for the big game (if you plan to watch).
