Celebrate Love this February

It’s the season of love! February is home to Valentine’s Day, the most romantic holiday of the year, of course. Don’t feel too much pressure though One Greenway residents. February 14th does not have to be the end-all-be-all of romance. The day, and all month, should be focused on love- whether with a romantic partner, friends, or family members. It could even be a day for self-care!

But first, make sure to have a great Galentine’s Day. That’s right, an entire day dedicated to appreciating and loving your friends. The love of friends is just as important as the love of a romantic partner. If you and your gal pals love watching television together, get together for Ladies Night: Galentine’s & The Bachelor Viewing Party on the 20th.

February is also celebrated as Black History Month. Thankfully, Boston is home to plenty of ways to recognize Black History not only this month but year-round. Including the Museum of African American History, which includes the oldest public school in the nation for educating Black children. At the Museum of Fine Arts, several exhibits focusing on Black artists are proudly displayed.

You could also take part in the Boston Black Restaurant Challenge! Encouraging everyone to visit at least four black-owned restaurants throughout the month.  One Greenway is proud to be in a city proudly celebrating Black History Month.
