WakuWaku Is a New Spot for Ramen Near One Greenway

Your dream bowl of ramen awaits inside the hip new Chinatown hot spot WakuWaku. Find the restaurant right on Tyler Street, but be ready to feel transported to downtown Tokyo. WakuWaku boasts a fun, party atmosphere with electric lights and lively music, plus plenty of sake and deliciously authentic cuisine.

Expect a slightly shorter offering (the restaurant is still in its soft launch phase) but still plenty of tasty options to experience the cuisine. Start with bao buns or saucy fried wings, followed by your choice of about 10 different ramen bowls. The signature WakuWaku bowl is the way to go on your first visit, and includes fried pork and bok choy atop chewy noodles and spicy sesame pork broth. WakuWaku also has vegetable miso for their vegetarian friends, and several variations of the classic chicken base.

A night out in Chinatown doesn’t have to mean dinner at one spot followed by a different place for drinks. You can do it all at WakuWaku.
