Boston Common: A National Treasure Is Just Moments From One Greenway

There is nothing more quintessentially to Boston summer than spending time in Boston Common, America’s oldest park, on a sunny day. This expansive green park is a draw for locals and tourists alike, featuring beautiful statues and monuments celebrating the rich local history. The park itself dates back to the mid-1600s!

On any given day at the park, you’ll hear talented musicians strumming and singing melodic tunes, beautiful highlights like the blooming tulips that will take over the park soon, if they haven’t already, and grandiose statues like the famous George Washington on horseback statue in the public gardens on the grounds. You can’t go to the park without checking out the famous Frog Pond, so make sure you stop there before heading back to your apartment.
