Enjoy Mediterranean Comfort Food for Brunch at Cafe Landwer
When Cafe Landwer opened three months ago, the brunch possibilities in Boston expanded to include a variety of contemporary American and Mediterranean eats you won’t find at other spots in the city. So grab a cup of creamy, nitro-infused cold-brew coffee or a fresh fruit smoothie and spend some time perusing the morning menu.
If you’re in the mood for American comfort food, order a stack of Landwer’s pancakes decorated with Nutella, house-made whipped cream, and maple syrup or dig into a breakfast bowl of steel-cut oatmeal loaded with bananas, berries, and roasted almonds. Interested in trying something new? Try the halloumi shakshouka, a pair of poached eggs capped with crispy halloumi and spinach, all smothered with tomato sauce and tahini. You can also dig into one of the grilled sandwiches, like the Jerusalem with mozzarella cheese, a hard-boiled egg, sun-dried tomato spread, and za’atar seasoning.
