Find British-Style Pub Fare at Rail Stop Restaurant & Bar

There’s no shortage of good seafood in Boston, and although it’s only been open for a couple of months, Rail Stop Restaurant & Bar already promises to be among the city’s seafood hotspots. First of all, there’s the atmosphere: when you enter this British-style pub, you’ll find yourself facing a long and cheerful curved bar lined with bright blue leather stools. The dining room offers plenty of comfortable banquet seating, too, and the overall atmosphere is modern, chic, and trendy.

The menu features a number of dressed up bar favorites, like Point Judith calamari with roasted garlic aioli, or sauteed wild mussels served atop grilled crostini. You’ll also find a few truly decadent dishes, like the New England lobster MKT with roasted corn and drawn butter or the black angus center cut fillet with grilled asparagus and marrow butter. Whatever you choose, Yelpers say you should be sure to leave room for dessert.
