February 2015 Boston Events

One of the best things about One Greenway’s downtown Boston location is its proximity to the dozens of events happening in the city every month. You’re never far from an amazing food festival, wine tasting, or stunning stage performance.

Here are a few of the noteworthy events coming up in the month ahead:

Celebrate Black History Month: African-Americans played a major role in colonial Boston. The Museum of African-American History is a great visit. Don’t have time for that? You can download an audio tour of the Black Heritage Trail for only $.99.

The Boston Wine Expo: Foodies flock to this annual extravaganza of all things wine. Chef presentations, tastings, and seminars will help you unleash your inner oenophile. February 14-15.

Boston Beer and Cheese Fest: Wine not your thing? Not a problem. Enjoy craft beers and ciders paired with local cheeses at this event organized by the folks at Drink Craft Beer. February 27-28.

Chinese New Year: You can begin the Lunar New Year celebrations at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts on February 21. But the main event happens just steps from One Greenway with Chinatown’s New Year celebration. The date hasn’t been set yet, but will likely happen in late February or early March. Keep an eye on the Chinatown Main Streets Facebook page for details as the event gets closer. We’ll be sure to share pictures from the event!
