The dog days of summer are here. Cool down on these hot summer days (and nights!) by sampling some of the amazing ice cream choices near One Greenway. Boston foodies know that South End pizza joint Picco’s ice cream and sorbet offerings are just as delicious as their pies. Picco’s homemade flavors range from classics like vanilla and chocolate to unique offerings like coconut brownie. You can also enjoy “adult” ice cream treats like a frappe made with stout beer or an ice cream soda that consists of Belgian Lambic poured over vanilla ice cream. Some days, a craving for Chunky Monkey cannot be denied. Fans of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream have two nearby options to satisfy their urge. The nearest location is in the Park Plaza Hotel, but you can make an evening of it by window-shopping your way to the Newbury Street outpost. Food trucks aren’t just
