Where to have fun near One Greenway this fall

Summer may be over, but there’s plenty of fall fun to be had in the city! Get in the spirit of cooler weather, cozy nights and pumpkin-flavored everything with these awesome fall activities right outside your doorstep!

Visit Boston Public Market

Located just two stops away on the Orange Line from One Greenway, Boston Public Market features 40 local vendors throughout its indoor, year-round marketplace that offer some fall New England must-haves from apples and pumpkins to delicious cider donuts.

The Market is also hosting its 2nd Annual Pumpkin Celebration on October 18th to celebrate the arrival of its 1,000+ pound pumpkin and its First Annual Harvest Party on October 20th, where visitors can explore the Market behind closed doors, sample and check out interactive demos.

Stroll in the Boston Common & Boston Public Garden

The Boston Common and Boston Public Garden are a scenic spot to enjoy a crisp fall day and the changing leaves. On October 23rd, decorated jack-o’-lanterns will float on the Frog Pond for the 2016 Pumpkin Float. Bring your carved 8-inch pumpkin to join in on the festivities!

Explore picturesque Beacon Hill

Enjoy one of Boston’s most picturesque fall spots, Beacon Hill — just a quick 20-minute walk from One Greenway! Spend your day exploring the shops and restaurants on Charles Street, admiring the fall colors and the neighborhood’s historic brownstones and take photos on Acorn Street, the most photographed street in the country.

Check out Coolidge After Midnite

In October, the Coolidge Corner Theatre transforms into Coolidge After Midnite, showing all your favorite scary movies throughout the month. Love some Halloween scares? Get spooked at the Halloween Horror Marathon on October 29th with 12 straight hours of spook-tacular movies. Hop on the Green Line “C” train at Boylston Street to Coolidge Corner to head over from One Greenway.

Regardless of what your interests are, Boston has something for everyone. So get out there and enjoy the beautiful fall weather before it’s too late!
